Samvardhana Motherson International rises as its arm incorporates subsidiary

MESNL will, inter-alia, be engaged in the business of designing, developing, owning and operating power, energy and infrastructure projects

Samvardhana Motherson International is currently trading at Rs. 133.25, up by 1.65 points or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 131.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 131.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 133.90 and Rs. 131.80 respectively. So far 264793 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 135.70 on 11-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.57 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 134.15 and Rs. 128.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 140637.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.36% and 18.04% respectively. 

Samvardhana Motherson International’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Motherson New Energy has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary namely ‘Motherson Energy Systems Naarangwadi’ (MESNL) on February 24, 2026. MESNL will, inter-alia, be engaged in the business of designing, developing, owning and operating power, energy and infrastructure projects (including associated facilities) primarily based on renewable sources for captive use by Motherson Group entities.
