FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14675.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 15925.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1249.90 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2773.07 crore with gross sales of Rs 1770.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1002.63 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 263.44 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 640.66 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1906.73 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 608.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 37.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 571.18 crore in hybrid segment.
