Currency futures for May expiry trade weaker with 1.09% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 94.78, weaker compared to its Tuesday’s close at 94.68. The rupee opened at 94.79 and touched day’s high of 94.81 and low of 94.73.
The May currency futures were trading at 95.05 with a spread of 0.0050 and a volume of 1,20,916. The contract opened at 95.00 weaker from its previous closing of 94.93. The open interest (OI) stood at 14,45,282 up by 1.09% compared to its previous close of 14,29,691.
