Star Cement’s arm acquires 100% shareholding in JRPPL
Consequently, JRPPL became the wholly owned subsidiary of SCNEL and a step down subsidiary of Star Cement
Star Cement’s subsidiary -- M/s Star Cement North East (SCNEL) has acquired 100% shareholding of M/s Jaitaran Renewable Power (JRPPL) from the shareholders of JRPPL.
Consequently, JRPPL became the wholly owned subsidiary of SCNEL and a step down subsidiary of Star Cement. The objective of acquisition is to diversify the business into a new vertical and strengthening its initiatives towards renewable energy.
Star Cement is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of Cement Clinker & Cement.
