Tata Capital falls despite its consolidated net profit jumps 47% in Q4FY26

Consolidated total income of the company increased by 8.70% at Rs 8,162.31 crore for Q4FY26

Tata Capital is currently trading at Rs. 338.35, down by 2.05 points or 0.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 340.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 345.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 346.15 and Rs. 335.75 respectively. So far 246883 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 367.65 on 20-Jan-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 300.30 on 02-Apr-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 346.15 and Rs. 331.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 143412.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 85.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.48% and 6.10% respectively.

Tata Capital has reported 80.61% rise as its net profit at Rs 1,182.60 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4FY26) as compared to net profit of Rs 654.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.29% at Rs 6,110.93 crore for Q4FY26 as compared Rs 5,695.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 46.65% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,466.27 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 999.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.70% at Rs 8,162.31 crore for Q4FY26 as compared Rs 7,508.81 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the company has reported 23.39% rise in its net profit at Rs 3,201.14 crore as compared to Rs 2,594.28 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.24% at Rs 23,089.38 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 21,940.08 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 33.81% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,890.91 crore as compared to Rs 3,655.02 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.32% at Rs 31,582.62 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 28,369.87 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
