Currency futures for May expiry trade weaker with 36.44% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 94.2925, weaker compared to its Thursday’s close at 94.0150. The rupee opened at 94.25 and touched day’s high of 94.31 and low of 94.2375.
The May currency futures were trading at 94.5125 with a spread of 0.0250 and a volume of 3,00,604. The contract opened almost flat at its previous closing of 94.3525. The open interest (OI) stood at 5,47,324 up by 36.44% compared to its previous close of 4,01,142.
