Physical Rubber prices extend gains on Wednesday
Physical rubber prices extended gains on Wednesday due to robust demand from the automotive and tyre sectors, while continued domestic supply shortages also supported sentiments. Moreover, high production costs of synthetic alternatives also helped natural rubber prices’ up-move.
Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 236/kg to its previous closing of Rs 234/kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 232/kg to its previous closing of Rs 230/kg.
