Concord Enviro Systems shines as its arm acquires stake in WaHa Inc
The said acquisition is in line with the WOS’s strategic objectives and is expected to strengthen its business and technological capabilities
Concord Enviro Systems is currently trading at Rs. 339.05, up by 13.60 points or 4.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 325.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 322.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 343.15 and Rs. 321.65 respectively. So far 1434 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 664.60 on 26-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 235.05 on 16-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 343.15 and Rs. 317.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 701.71 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.43%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.53% and 40.04% respectively.
Concord Enviro Systems’ wholly owned overseas subsidiary (WOS)-- Concord Enviro FZE has acquired Convertible Preferred Stock of WaHa Inc. The said acquisition is in line with the WOS’s strategic objectives and is expected to strengthen its business and technological capabilities.
The proposed investment in WaHa Inc. is intended to establish a strategic partnership to access its advanced MOF-based dehumidification and atmospheric water generation technologies. Through Concord Enviro FZE, the company will secure exclusive licensing rights for India and the UAE and act as a global manufacturing partner for AWG systems. The investment is driven by strong synergies on account of significant customer overlap in the company’s existing sectors viz, Atmospheric Water Generation: industries in water-stressed regions, Industrial Product Drying: Applications for clients in Pharma, yeast, and powder-based manufacturing, Dehumidification: Supporting critical manufacturing environments for clients in F&B, Battery Manufacturing, Solar and Semiconductors.
Concord Enviro Systems is engaged in the business of manufacturing water treatment systems, water pollution control equipment, bio filters, resource recovery systems using membrane technology and operational and maintenance services.
