FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17308.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 15239.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2068.84 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2109.31 crore with gross sales of Rs 4190.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2081.59 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 512.13 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 2738.08 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1168.62 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.39 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.86 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 12.47 crore in hybrid segment.
