FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16756.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 15134.74 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1621.38 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3786.42 crore with gross sales of Rs 2759.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1026.49 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 636.86 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 6.07 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1657.28 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.76 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.35 crore in hybrid segment.
