FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 30159.07 crore against gross selling of Rs 35708.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5549.89 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2554.81 crore with gross sales of Rs 2248.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 306.08 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1026.43 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 48.52 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 671.83 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 392.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 251.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 140.79 crore in hybrid segment.
