RNIT AI Solutions (RNIT) has rolled out an AI-based Facial Recognition Attendance Management System (FRS) for Department of Education, in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. This deployment represents the first implementation of such an AI-based attendance system in Lakshadweep. 

The AI-based Facial Recognition Attendance Management System has been implemented in all schools under the Department of Education, Lakshadweep, to facilitate daily attendance capture of students and teachers, including reporting functions. The platform is currently operational and facilitates secure, technology-enabled attendance recording and reporting for students and teachers across schools under the Department of Education, Lakshadweep.
