Currency futures for March expiry trade weaker with 55.95% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 90.9650, weaker compared to its Monday’s close at 90.8950. The rupee opened at 90.91 and touched day’s high of 90.97 and low of 90.91.
The March currency futures were trading at 91.13 with a spread of 0.0100 and a volume of 3,62,872. The contract opened at 91.15 weaker from its previous closing of 91.0650. The open interest (OI) stood at 7,06,310 up by 55.95% compared to its previous close of 4,52,922.
