This approval significantly enhances the company’s visibility across the vast US Foods distribution network
Himalaya Food lnternational has expanded into United States (U.S.) market. The company has successfully completed product registration and secured approval with US Foods, one of the largest foodservice distributors in the United States. Having initially served as a ‘spot vendor’ since 2025 -- where transactions were conducted on a per-order basis -- the company’s consistent product quality and supply reliability have earned the company an upgrade to a ‘Regular Approved Vendor’.
This transition reflects heightened buyer confidence and establishes a scalable commercial foundation for long-term expansion. As part of this integration, US Foods has assigned APN numbers to the company’s core product line, enabling internal procurement teams to place direct orders through their centralized systems. This approval significantly enhances the company’s visibility across the vast US Foods distribution network, paving the way for future product listings and regional growth.
The initial registration covers a specialized range of high-demand potato products, including French Fries - Straight Cut, French Fries - Crinkle Cut, French Fries - Shoestring and Baked Potato Skins.
Himalya International offer a variety of mushrooms like White (Agaricus), Crimini (Italian Brown) and Portobello as frozen Buttons, Slices, Dices & de-stemmed Caps.
