FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18803.29 crore against gross selling of Rs 16879.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1923.76 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 936.59 crore with gross sales of Rs 289.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 647.32 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 505.94 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 8.13 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 149.51 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 34.69 crore against gross selling of Rs 148.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 113.35 crore in hybrid segment.
