Canara Bank has informed that Arun Kumar Mishra, General Manager, Bengaluru Circle Office has been promoted as Chief General Manager, Circle Head of Bengaluru Circle of the Bank with effect from 01.05.2026. Further, Purshottam Chand, Chief General Manager, Treasury Wing, Mumbai, ceased to be Chief General Manager of the Bank with effect from 01.05.2026 on attaining superannuation. Brief Profile of Arun Kumar Mishra: Arun Kumar Mishra, joined the Bank on 09.03.1998. His qualification is B.Sc (Nursing) and holding certifications in Composite Insurance Certification & JAIIB. He has exposure of handling assignments at Head Office Level, Circle Offices, Regional Offices and Branches. At present he is heading Bengaluru Circle Office.
