REC declines on reporting 22% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit
Consolidated total income of the company decreased by 4.98% at Rs 14,583.39 crore

The scrip opened at Rs. 361.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 361.10 and Rs. 352.75 respectively. So far 340530 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 432.50 on 30-Apr-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 304.10 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 387.45 and Rs. 304.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 93400.46 crore.

REC has reported 20.63% fall in its net profit at Rs 3,362.30 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4FY26) as compared to Rs 4,236.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has decreased by 5.06% at Rs 14,406.30 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 15,174.15 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 21.69% fall in its net profit at Rs 3,375.08 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 4,309.98 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 4.98% at Rs 14,583.39 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 15,348.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2026, the company has reported 3.62% rise in its net profit at Rs 16,282.26 crore as compared to Rs 15,713.21 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 5.73% at Rs 59,187.22 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 55,979.62 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
For the year ended March 31, 2026, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2.67% rise in its net profit at Rs 16,308.17 crore as compared to Rs 15,884.23 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 5.66% at Rs 59,628.35 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 56,434.03 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
