FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 28 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11704.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 15893.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4188.34 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1746.52 crore with gross sales of Rs 1437.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 308.90 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 11.48 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 911.10 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 590.72 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 141.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 58.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 82.12 crore in hybrid segment.
