FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 21 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13408.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 12900.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 507.38 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1581.02 crore with gross sales of Rs 1693.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 112.78 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 161.55 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 18.56 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 30.21 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13.72 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.17 crore in hybrid segment.
