The license authorises the company to manufacture, assemble, integrate, and proof-test the high-value strategic weapon systems and munitions. The license has been granted for two facilities of the company located in Hyderabad. With this license, the company moves from being a provider of embedded systems and subsystems to an end-to-end platform manufacturer of complete weapon systems including missiles, torpedoes, precision bombs, and next-generation loitering munitions.

The company has been granted the license for Arms of Caliber Above 12.7mm (Category I), involving manufacturing of Missiles, Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), Torpedoes, Underwater Mines, Safety Arming Mechanism, Chaffs, Flares and Decoys. Also, the company has been granted the license for Arms of Caliber Above 12.7mm (Category II), involving Manufacturing of Aerial Bombs, Rockets, Loitering Munition.
