FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12106.63 crore against gross selling of Rs 21513.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9406.78 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1729.57 crore with gross sales of Rs 2312.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 583.32 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1066.89 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 790.18 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 860.03 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 38.25 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.66 crore in hybrid segment.
