Currency futures for March expiry trade weaker with 1.38% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 91.4275, weaker compared to its Friday’s close at 91.08. The rupee opened at 91.2350 and touched day’s high of 91.43 and low of 91.23.
The March currency futures were trading at 91.5625 with a spread of 0.0025 and a volume of 2,31,621. The contract opened at 91.23 weaker from its previous closing of 91.1675. The open interest (OI) stood at 12,59,555 up by 1.38% compared to its previous close of 12,42,401.
