Currency futures for March expiry trade weaker with 7.36% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 90.9525, weaker compared to its Thursday’s close at 90.9150. The rupee opened at 90.9150 and touched day’s high of 90.9675 and low of 90.9150.
The March currency futures were trading at 91.0775 with a spread of 0.0025 and a volume of 1,56,295. The contract opened flat at its previous closing of 91.05. The open interest (OI) stood at 12,18,950 up by 7.36% compared to its previous close of 11,35,436.
