FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 26 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17765.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 16673.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1092.59 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4924.34 crore with gross sales of Rs 3752.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1171.63 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 352.95 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 20.86 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 797.82 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 29.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 207.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 177.65 crore in hybrid segment.
