Rail Vikas Nigam rises on receiving LoA worth Rs 656.21 crore from NMDC

The company has secured first LoA worth Rs 371.69 crore for the development of township in Kirandul, Chhattisgarh

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 318.50, up by 1.00 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 317.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 319.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 321.05 and Rs. 316.25 respectively. So far 232964 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 448.00 on 20-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 295.25 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 324.15 and Rs. 303.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 66095.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.37% and 15.79% respectively.

Rail Vikas Nigam has received Letters of Acceptance (LoA) aggregating to Rs 656.21 crore (including all taxes) from National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC). The company has secured first LoA worth Rs 371.69 crore for the development of township in Kirandul, Chhattisgarh. The project is to be executed within 21 months. The company has secured another LoA worth Rs 284.52 crore for construction of residential tower in Kirandul, Chhattisgarh. The project is to be executed within 16 months.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) functions as an extended arm of the Ministry of Railways. The company is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
