FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 27 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10023.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 18745.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8721.65 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2697.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 2696.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 0.49 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 140.25 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1591.32 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1731.08 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 32.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 53.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 21.50 crore in hybrid segment.
