FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 22 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15037.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 14441.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 595.21 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3888.20 crore with gross sales of Rs 3428.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 459.37 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 68.28 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 87.38 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 615.03 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.47 crore in hybrid segment.
