FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 13 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18909.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 17399.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1509.37 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2923.73 crore with gross sales of Rs 3774.74 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 851.01 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 863.42 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 397.79 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 410.20 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15.23 crore against gross selling of Rs 13.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.32 crore in hybrid segment.
