FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 10 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16521.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 18586.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2064.21 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2364.05 crore with gross sales of Rs 3756.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1392.85 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 948.85 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1239.21 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 795.21 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5.64 crore in hybrid segment.
