FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20151.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 21547.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1395.55 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3684.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 3954.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 270.70 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 749.67 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 296.03 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 775.00 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 41.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.05 crore in hybrid segment.
