Bajaj Auto rises on reporting 20% rise in March sales
Total domestic two-wheelers sales increased by 20% to 2,21,021 units in March 2026 as compared to 1,83,659 units in the year-ago month
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 8900.80, up by 141.25 points or 1.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 8759.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 8760.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 8955.65 and Rs. 8759.55 respectively. So far 2742 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10186.60 on 26-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7088.25 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9171.30 and Rs. 8624.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 247635.08 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.90% and 22.11% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 20% in total sales (domestic + exports) to 4,45,377 units in March 2026 as against 3,69,823 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) increased by 20% to 2,66,290 units in March 2026 as compared to 2,21,474 units in March 2025. The total exports (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) increased by 28% to 1,79,087 units in March 2026 as compared to 1,48,349 units in March 2025.
Total domestic two-wheelers sales increased by 20% to 2,21,021 units in March 2026 as compared to 1,83,659 units in the year-ago month. The total domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles increased by 20% at 45,269 units in March 2026 as against 37,815 units in March 2025.
Meanwhile, total exports of two-wheelers increased by 21% to 1,59,452 units in March 2026 as compared to 1,32,073 units in the year-ago month. The total exports of Commercial Vehicles increased by 21% at 19,635 units in March 2026 as against 16,276 units in March 2025.
