Rail Vikas Nigam secures LoA worth Rs 242.49 crore
The company has received LoA from South Central Railway
Rail Vikas Nigam has received LoA from South Central Railway for ‘Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning for OHE upgradation of existing 1X25kV system to 2X25kV AT Feeding System with Feeder and Earthing works in Ongole (OGL) (Incl) - Gudur (GDR) (Incl) section of Vijayawada Division under South Central Railway, Total 154 RKM/ 462 TKM.’ The cost of work is Rs 242.49 crore. The said order is to be completed in 24 months.
Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) functions as an extended arm of the Ministry of Railways. The company is in the business of executing all types of railway projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings etc.
