FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 41116.50 crore against gross selling of Rs 60953.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 19837.23 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2740.37 crore with gross sales of Rs 5036.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2296.17 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 486.60 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 735.49 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 3518.26 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 63.26 crore against gross selling of Rs 62.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.12 crore in hybrid segment.
