FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 30 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22117.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 26082.07 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3964.71 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3377.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 2158.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1218.36 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 928.19 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 501.27 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 791.44 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 41.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 25.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.08 crore in hybrid segment.
