Voltas informs about disclosure
Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Para A of Part A of Schedule III of SEBI Listing Regulations, Voltas has informed that the Company has on 27th March, 2026, received an Order from the Office of the Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House Nhava Sheva, Uran, Raigad, Maharashtra, demanding payment of differential customs duty of ₹10.76 crores along with applicable interest, and a penalty of ₹12.76 crores under the relevant provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, alleging mis-classification of certain imported goods pertaining to the period from 14th June, 2019 to 21st July, 2022. The Company is analyzing the Order and will take appropriate course of action including filing of an appeal before the CESTAT in the matter. There is no material impact on the financials, operations or other activities of the Company due to this penalty. The information as required under Clause 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations read with relevant SEBI Circulars is enclosed in the Annexure.
