Urban company zooms as SBI Mutual fund buys stake worth Rs 632.22 crore

This transaction held after completion of lock-in period for Pre-IPO shares

Urban Company is currently trading at Rs. 125.20, up by 15.35 points or 13.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 109.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 113.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 127.30 and Rs. 112.80 respectively. So far 3560458 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 201.00 on 22-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 96.35 on 02-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 129.40 and Rs. 107.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18269.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 20.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 71.33% and 8.39% respectively.

SBI Mutual fund has bought equity shares of Urban company aggregating to Rs 632.22 crore, through a series of bulk deals. This transaction held after completion of lock-in period for pre-IPO shares, allowing early shareholders to sell their shares for the first time since the IPO.

SBI Mutual fund purchased 3,50,63,090 shares on the NSE at an average price of Rs 109.85, along with an additional 2,24,93,959 shares on the BSE at Rs 109.83 per share. Whereas, the ABG Capital and DF International Partners II LLC sold 1,74,10,090 and 1,76,53,000 equity shares respectively on NSE. Further, Wellington Hadley Harbor AIV Master Investors (Cayman) III sold 3,17,78,560 shares on the BSE.
