Bajel Projects zooms on securing order from MSETCL

This order is the largest single order won in the Power Transmission business

Bajel Projects is currently trading at Rs. 152.00, up by 12.05 points or 8.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 139.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 149.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 159.75 and Rs. 149.00 respectively. So far 395118 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 262.00 on 18-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 138.00 on 13-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 159.75 and Rs. 138.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1755.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.53%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.46% and 28.01% respectively.

Bajel Projects has secured an ultra-mega order from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company (MSETCL) for the establishment of a 400/220 kV AIS Substation at Saswad, along with its associated transmission lines in District Pune, Maharashtra. This order is the largest single order won in the Power Transmission business.

The project encompasses the complete turnkey EPC execution of the 400/220 kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) substation at Saswad, Pune, including the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the substation along with all associated transmission lines-- covering civil, supply and ETC (Erection, Testing & Commissioning) components. 

At the heart of the project is the establishment of a greenfield 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) substation at Saswad, Pune, complete with a 1×125 MVAr Bus Reactor at the 400 kV level. The substation has also been designed with future expansion provisions, reflecting a forward-looking approach to Maharashtra's long-term power demand growth.
