KPI Green rises on energising additional 35 MWp of solar capacity
This continued capacity addition further strengthens KPI Green’s position as a leading Independent Power Producer
KPI Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 400.70, up by 5.85 points or 1.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 394.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 402.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 422.35 and Rs. 397.00 respectively. So far 510262 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 562.60 on 16-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 335.55 on 09-May-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 432.20 and Rs. 335.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7863.06 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.31% and 41.44% respectively.
KPI Green Energy has recently energized an additional 35 MWp of solar capacity, taking its total operational IPP capacity to 589 MWp. With projects currently in hand, the Company remains well on track to commission an additional 1,582 MWp in the near term, which will expand its total Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio to 2.17 GWp. This continued capacity addition further strengthens KPI Green’s position as a leading IPP.
This portfolio underscores a robust and sustainable annuity revenue stream from long-term contracted projects under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), many with tenures of up to 25 years. It further reinforces the Company’s strategic transition toward an asset-backed Independent Power Producer model, complemented by its well-established EPC expertise.
