Va Tech Wabag informs about receipt of order
Va Tech Wabag has informed that the Company has received a GST demand order dated March 06, 2026 from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, GST Commissionerate, Uttar Pradesh alleging excess ITC claim for the FY 2019-20. The said demand order is passed along with interest and penalty under Section 74 of the CGST Act. The details as required under Reg. 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with the SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/0155 dated November 11, 2024, as amended is enclosed as Annexure-I. The Company will be pursuing appropriate legal remedies which includes filing an appeal with the appropriate Authority in this regard against the said order.
