FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15796.13 crore against gross selling of Rs 19226.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3430.25 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 7059.87 crore with gross sales of Rs 6707.22 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 352.65 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 93.83 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 619.01 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 172.53 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 35.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 95.05 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 60.00 crore in hybrid segment.
