Bond yields trade lower on Tuesday
The yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 3 basis points lower at 6.66% from its previous close of 6.69% on Monday
Bond yields traded lower on Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump said that any countries that want to ‘play games’ after the court's tariff ruling would be hit ‘with a much higher tariff’.
In the global market, U.S. Treasury yields fell to start the week as investors weighed President Donald Trump’s latest tariffs after the Supreme Court struck down much of the duties on Friday.
Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 3 basis points lower at 6.66% from its previous close of 6.69% on Monday.
The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 1 basis point higher at 6.45% from its previous close of 6.44% on Monday.
